MARK’S RESTAURANT VOTED “OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT” AT 2006 WEHO AWARDS
WEST HOLLYWOOD – Mark’s was named “Outstanding Restaurant” for 2006 by members of the West Hollywood community at the 6th Annual WeHo Awards Ceremony, a black-tie gala held Dec. 12 at the Village Renberg Theatre honoring outstanding achievements in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community of the Greater Los Angeles area. This was the fourth year that Mark’s Restaurant has been honored with a WeHo Award.
Awards were presented in 34 different categories, each honoring organizations, businesses, events, and individuals for their continuous commitment to excellence. Mark’s was one of eight nominees in the category of Outstanding Restaurant. Voting took place by ballot and online over a ten day period in November, with winners announced at the black-tie gala.
“As a fixture in the community for nearly 20 years, we are absolutely thrilled and feel honored to have been voted this year’s winner,” said Chris Diamond, co-owner of Mark’s Restaurant. Co-owner and Executive Chef Wayne Elias added, “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support the West Hollywood community has given us and we look forward to pleasing the community’s palette for many years to come.”
