Proving he can deliver

Hidden deep inside the corridors of the NBC studio in Burbank, Chef Wayne Elias is hard at work.

The chef and his 28-person staff are responsible for filling the stomachs of the stars and executives that populate the lot. From "The Tonight Show" and the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" to the executive restaurant, Elias has his hands full.

"I'm the doctor of food," he laughed. "I'm always on call."

Elias, who owns the company, Crumble Catering, has been taking care of the studio for about six years. His services are a departure from the larger, national catering companies that typically fill studios needs, said NBC Event Coordinator Francine Spray.
