THE ABBEY-WEST HOLLYWOOD WILL TRANSFORM INTO “THE ABBEY DISCO CLUB” IN CELEBRATION OF L.A. GAY PRIDE 2005

Pride Weekend Kicks Off with a BRAVO-TV Celebration

West Hollywood (May 19, 2005) – Marking its most elaborate themed event to date, The Abbey/West Hollywood will celebrate Gay Pride Weekend 2005 with a special Bravo TV kick-off event, then transform itself into "The Abbey Disco Club," beginning Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, 2005.   

Join Bravo TV Friday, June 10th from 7 – 9 PM for a two-hour open bar in the Abbey's "Side Bar," with special give-a-ways and martinis to launch L.A. Pride and celebrate the new season of both “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and “Blow Out."

Immediately afterward, The Abbey relapses into disco fever, featuring authentic disco-style decorations, custom designed lighting and a throbbing disco soundtrack.  The Abbey will bring visitors back to the wild and decadent 70s disco era for three days of (almost) non-stop fun.  Festivities include live DJs and dancing, along with special after hours until 4 AM on both Friday and Saturday nights.
